Loozap is a social network for investors, organized around the things they invest in. Every stock, ETF, index, crypto-asset, country and government bond has its own page where members share ideas, publish research and follow the news that moves it.

What you can do on Loozap

  • Follow instruments with cashtags. Write $AMD, $BTC.X, $CAC40 or $FR10Y in a post and it appears on that instrument's Feed. Where a symbol trades on several exchanges, you can name the venue, for example $XTSE:SHOP.
  • Open an instrument page. Each instrument has its own Feed, News, Research, Ratings, Sentiment, Groups and Info tabs, tailored to its type. A bond has different tabs from a crypto-asset.
  • Build your watchlist. Watch the instruments you care about and see their conversations in one place. Your watchlist is private.
  • Publish research. Write an Article that states the question you are answering, your thesis, your time horizon and the strongest argument against you. Add your stance, from very bearish to very bullish, and disclose whether you hold a position.
  • Curate Collections. Group instruments into lists, such as "European semiconductors", and keep them private or share them.
  • Join Groups and Events. Group admins can link their Group to the instruments it discusses, so investors can find it from those instrument pages.
  • Read the news that matters. News on Loozap always links to the original publisher and says what kind of item it is: independent reporting, a company release or a regulatory filing.

What makes Loozap different

  • Your post stays where you put it. A post you publish on your profile, in a Group or at an Event stays there, with its privacy settings. Instrument feeds show it only to people who are already allowed to see it.
  • Sentiment you can check. Bullish and bearish percentages come from public posts tagged #Bullish or #Bearish, count each author only once, and stay hidden until enough people have voted. Our Editorial Policy explains the method.
  • Official voices are labelled. When a company runs an official Page on Loozap and we have checked that it belongs to the company, its posts carry an Official badge on the instrument's page.
  • Research is held to a standard. Articles show the author's stance and position disclosure next to the argument, so readers can judge both.
